Kilcullen GAA Easter Camp Thursday 20 & Friday 21-April
Kilcullen GAA Easter camp took place during the Easter holidays. Over the 2 days, 70 kids attended the Easter Camp learning new football skills (kicking, passing, pick-up, blocking), participating in football blitzes and having fun. On Friday the Kildare midfielder & vice-captain, Kevin Feely attended to give some footballing advice, answer some tough questions and sign autographs.
The camp would not have happened without the tremendous support from Ger Breen and Teresa O’Loughlin (collecting the funds), Shane Crowley, Dominic Taaffe and Liam Cronin (camp co-ordinators) , Dara Coleman (Facebook/PR) and Jennifer Wilson (Text messages).
A special thanks to an excellent group of helpers who worked tirelessly to ensure the kids had 2 fun-filled days and learned new GAA skills. The fantastic mentors were Billy Cronin, Jamie Buckley, Padi Behan, Niamh Garrett, Kate Timmons and Avril Glendon. The future of coaching in Kilcullen GAA is in very good hands!
