Weekend Round-up:
The Minor team, who were missing a number of players, were beaten by a single point by St Evin Gales in Division 2B of the Minor League. The match at Kilcullen’s grounds on Sunday 19th February was a keenly contested affair with both teams displaying some good skills throughout. The final score was six points to five in favour of St Evin Gales. Dara McMahon, Kilcullen’s goalkeeper turned in a fine display of solid goalkeeping while Darren Barker and Shane McMahon also caught the eye in what was a good team effort. Minor training continues on Wednesday and Friday evenings at 7.30 p.m.
In some better news, the Senior team's preparation for the league have started well with a one-point win in a challenge match with Timahoe.

Aldridge Cup Exit:
The Senior team make a first round exit in the Aldridge Cup after losing 1-11 to 0-8 to Kilcock. The game was played in a strong breeze which left Kilcullen playing catch-up in the second half. The match was used as a good learning experience however, with all Kilcullen substitutes making an appearance. The team now have a month to prepare for the start of the league.

Best of luck to all involved.
