Juniors Win Again:
The Juniors have continued their 100% home record with a win over Caragh last night in a game which was heavily dictated by a strong wind. The Rags went in at half time losing by 1-4 to 0-3. However with the aid of this breeze in the second half Kilcullen kept their opponents scoreless for the entire half, while registering some good scores to run out easy winners by a score of 1-9 to 1-4.

Weekend Round-up:
This was a weekend of mixed fortunes for Kilcullen GAA. It started badly on Friday when the Juniors lost away to Moorefield by 18 points to 9. Moorefield were only able to field 13 players so the game proceeded at 13-a-side. This seemed to suit the hosts however and they took advantage of the freely available space to achieve a convincing win.
Saturday was much better for the rags though where the seniors beat Leixlip by a score of 0-17 to 1-8 in the league. An experimental half-back line of Ian Barker, Darren Barker and Cormac Aspell proved fruitful with Kilcullen able to easily outscore the opponents with the aid of a strong breeze in the second half.
If anyone can stand to watch more Gaelic football after yesterday's display in Croke Park, the Juniors play at home against Caragh this evening at 7.30pm.

Big GAA Weekend:
This weekend promises a lot of football for those wishing to attend games. On Friday the Juniors will be hoping to lay a marker down for their league ambitions when they travel to Moorefield on Friday night for a 7.30pm throw-in.
On Saturday the Seniors host Leixlip at 7pm. Both teams are very close in league position and a win here would hopefully see the rags climb out of the relegation zone.
On Sunday of course, all roads lead to Croker where Kildare face Offaly in the Leinster SFC quarter final. Best of luck to the Lilywhites.
Then on Monday the Juniors resume regular league duties with a home game against Caragh, again with a 7.30pm throw-in. All support is appreciated.

Juniors Back to Winning Ways:
The Juniors have bounced back from last week's defeat with a good 1-11 to 1-8 win over Castledermot last night. Kilcullen had the advantage for most of the first half until Castledermot broke up the field to score a well worked goal. However Kilcullen did not allow this to impede their momentum in the second half and when a fortuitous Eoin Dixon goal game their way the Rags were able to hold on to this lead until full-time.

Ballymore League Win:
Kilcullen registered a good win this evening by beating Ballymore 1-10 to 1-4 in the league. The Rags were never behind in the game and maintained a solid lead throughout until a Michael 'Hook' Kelly penalty put the final result beyond doubt. This was not the end of the drama in the game however as Ballymore replied with a quick goal and Hook missed another penalty in injury-time.
