Ragettes Draw:Kilcullen ladies fought out a tough draw with Prosperous the other night. After some easy wins, this tough match will stand to them in the season ahead. As Prosperous were short players, the game was played 13-a-side. Next up for the ladies is Ballykelly. Details to be confirmed.

Underage News:Hard luck to the Under 11's who were beaten by Rathangan in the Shield final last weekend. Meanwhile, the Under 10's had a 4-9 to 2-4 win over Two Mile House. Best on the day were Alan Lambe, Stephen Willis, Seán Fitzgerald, Dylan Kennedy-Browne, Cian Creighton and Ellen O'Toole.
Junior News:Kilcullen Juniors had a good 0-12 to 0-6 win over Maynooth last night. Best for the Rags were Benny O'Brien, Ian Kinsella and David Phelan. Next up for the Juniors is Sarsfields away next Monday night at 7.30pm.
Kilcullen in Relegation Dogfight:Kilcullen came into this game with Carbury after a massive defeat to Sarsfields last week and with the aid of a good breeze in the first half they looked like they were determined to make amends by racing into a commanding 7 point lead with some well worked scores including a fisted goal from Hook Kelly. Carbury however had other ideas and with the help of two fortuitous goals the teams came in level at half time on a score of 1-8 to 2-5. The second half was a score for score affair but another Carbury goal midway through the half put enough daylight between the teams for Carbury to run out the victors with a final score of 3-11 to 1-12. Ladies Victory:Kilcullen ladies had another impressive win on Thursday night, wining away to Kilcock by 2-17 to 0-3. Kilcullen played well all over the field, especially a couple of the younger girls who were making their debuts. Next up for the ladies is an away game aginst Prosperous on Tuesday night.

Intermediate Championship:The fixtures for the first round of this year's Intermediate Championship have been announced. In their first Intermediate Championship match in 10 years, Kilcullen will play Eadestown, on Friday 4th July in Naas at 7.30pm. Elsewhere in the Intermediate Championship, a double header has been fixed for Kilcullen on Saturday 5th July. Monasterevin face Sallins at 5.30pm and Nurney face Ballymore at 7pm.Underage News:Kilcullen Under 10's were beaten by 6-13 to 3-4 by Monasterevin in a high-scoring entertaining game. Sash Triumphant:Kilcullen's recent good form came to a shuddering halt yesterday evening when they were comprehensively beaten by Sarsfields on a scoreline of 4-15 to 0-6. The Rags were never in the game at any stage, however Donal Droney, Ronan Aspell and Paul Jones had decent games.

However, the Rags have played very well in their last 2 games and will be hoping to keep that going. Juniors Win In Caragh:Kilcullen Juniors put some recent bad results behind them with a good win over Caragh last night, winning by 1-10 to 0-9. Best for The Rags were Alan Clarke, Benny O'Brien, Conor Burke and Hugh Hannigan.
Rags Draw With Leixlip:Kilcullen once again came back from behind, to draw with Leixlip in a thrilling encounter on Saturday night. Leixlip held a 0-11 to 0-6 lead at half-time, and the Rags looked in trouble. However, Kilcullen showed great spirit to come back against a good Leixlip side. Kilcullen could have won the game and actually were winning at one stage, but a draw was a fair result. Shane Lambe continued his Indian Summer, with another excellent all-round display. Ronan Aspell, Jimmy Burke, Mick Williams and John Whyte were all on top form too, while captain Paul Maher had an outstanding second half. The final score was Kilcullen 1-14, Leixlip 0-17.

Rags Fight Back To Draw:Kilcullen came from behind with 3 late points to draw away to Allenwood last night. Allenwood were ahead for most of the game thanks to the free-taking of Johnny Doyle, but Kilcullen showed great spirit and never gave up. Shane Lambe lead the way and scored a classy goal at a vital time, when the game appeared to be slipping away, and also got a couple of crucial points. Others to shine were Warren Kinsella and Mick Williams. The final score was Kilcullen 1-10 to Allenwood's 0-13.
