Weekly Lotto Winner:
There was one winner of the club lotto jackpot of €1,500. The draw was held in O'Connell's Pub, our new club sponsor for 2009. The winner was Richard McCarten, Conroy park and the ticket was sold by Peter O'Toole.

League Final Defeat for Ladies:
Hard luck to the Kilcullen ladies who have fallen at the final hurdle in the league for the second year running. Despite opening the scoring with a fantastic long-range free the Ragettes struggled to get a foothold in the contest but seemed to have done enough in the first half when two quickfire goals saw the sides go in level at the break, Ballykelly 1-4 Kilcullen 2-1.

However the second half continued with much the same pattern as the first with Kilcullen unable to take their chances, kicking some disappointing wides and with a lot of ball also dropping short into the keeper's hands. Ballykelly still kept the scoreboard ticking over however and when a fortuitous goal dropped down off the bar over the line with five minutes to go there was no doubt who the winners were going to be. A disappointing end to the year then but it is worth remembering that this team is only in the third year of their existence and with such a young squad, time should definitely be on their side.

Final score: Balykelly 3-11 Kilcullen 3-2

Ladies League Final Fixture Confirmed:
The Kilcullen Ladies Division 3 Junior Final against Ballykelly has been fixed for this Saturday the 15th at 2pm in Old Grange, St.Laurences. Anyone who was at least year's final will surely remember what a great game it was and how unlucky the ragettes were to lose, so it would be great to see a big turn out for the ladies as they strive to go one better than last season's decider. Best of luck to all involved.

Christmas Party/Presentation Night:
This year the club will have a Christmas party/presentation night to be held in Lumville House on Friday the 28th November starting with the presentation of yearly awards which will be followed by a buffet.
Music will be provided on the night, so let's finish off the year in style and join us on the night. Tickets are priced at €20 each. A bus will run from the Hideout on the night. Tickets are available from all committee members.

Merchandise Christmas Orders:
Speaking of Christmas, the club shop is now taking orders for club gear for Christmas. All orders should be placed before the end of November to ensure of products being delivered.

AGM Date Confirmed:
Kilcullen GAA's Annual General Meeting will take place on Monday 8th December at 8pm in the club house. Nominations should be received no later than Friday 28th November 2008 and as always all are welcome.

Under 21's Exit Championship:
Kilcullen exited the Under-21 championship the week before last losing by 3 points in the first round.

Teenage Disco:
The GAA clubhouse hosts a disco for 13 to 16 year olds on Friday 5th December. (Appropriate dress and ID required. Tickets are currently on sale at the DAYBREAK Store, €8 each, admission by prepaid ticket only.
