Senior Division 1 Fixtures:Kilcullen finally get their league campaign underway with two home fixtures. On Sunday April 5th, the visitors are Allenwood. Throw-in is at 6pm. Then on Wednesday April 8th, Ellistown are the visitors at 6.30pm.Minor Fixture:The Minors will be hoping to put yesterday's defeat behind them when they travel to Castledermot on Sunday in Minor League Division 3. Throw-in is at 11.30am.
Charity Quiz:A Table Quiz will be held in Bardons on Thursday April 9th, to raise funds for Kilcullen players Kevin O'Brien and Mark Brophy, who are going to Africa as part of a group who are helping with building facilities etc. All support will be greatly appreciated. Match Postponed:The Senior League Division 1 game between Kilcullen and Ellistown scheduled for tomorrow, has been postponed due to a bereavement in Ellistown. Also, the throw-in for the Minor game on Sunday has been switched to 12:30pm.

CPC Beaten:Hard Luck to the CPC Senior team who were defeated in the All-Ireland semi-finals. The local school team have 12 Kilcullen players on the panel and their achievements have brought both County and Provincial titles to the town. Well done to the team and Martin Dunne (manager) on their success this year.Ragettes Season Begins:Best of luck to the Ladies team in their tie against Prosperous next Sunday at 11am. After the first League match was postponed, this is the Girls first match and all support is welcomed at the home grounds.Under 14 Loss:The Under 14s suffered a defeat to a strong Castledermot Sunday morning.Lotto:Lotto numbers on Sunday 15th were 7,8,12,18. Kildare Mascot:Well done to Alan Lambe from Bishop Rogan Park, son of Johnny and Margaret, who was the mascot for Kildare in their game against Wexford in Newbridge yesterday. He was obviously a good luck charm as the Lilywhites had an impressive 2-16 to 0-8 win. (ps Kildare fans might like to know that the game away to Monaghan is live on TG4 next Sunday)Minors Lose:The Minors lost to Sallins on Sunday morning. Extreme weather conditions lead to a final scoreline that was not reflective of the ability of this team. Final Score was 6-11 to 2-4.Ladies News:The Ladies division 3 tie against athgarvan was postponed due to an unplayable pitch. Ladies Training is on Tuesday at 7pm. All new players are always welcome to attend. Ladies under 14s will train Tuesday at 4.15. Ladies under 16`s will be training Monday at 6.30 and Friday at 3.30.Lotto News:Lotto numbers drawn on Sunday 8th were 2,4,5,20. There were no jackpot winners of 1900 euro. Next weeks jackpot is 2,000 euro and the draw will take place in The Spout at 9.30. Cash prize of 50 euro went to Johnny Lambe and promoters prize went to Porky Lambe.
Understrength Rags Lose:Kilcullen, who were minus a number of regulars through injury, and then lost Cormac Aspell to injury after a few minutes, were beaten by Sallins in the Keogh Cup yesterday. The Rags failed to make the most of the wind advantage in the first half, and were losing at half-time. They came back into the game in the second half, but Sallins did enough to see out the game and win by 2-12 to 2-7. Best for Kilcullen was Ronan Aspell, while early substitute Johnny Browne took his scores very well.

CPC are Leinster Champions!:The Dublin team that CPC were due to play were disqualified,as were the team that they played in their semi-final, so that means that the school are now Leinster Champions! The Semi-final of the All-Ireland is due to be played on Saturday Week. The oposition and venue are unknown at this point.
Ragettes In Action:Kilcullen are away to local rivals Athgarvan on Sunday in the Ladies SFL Division 3.
Kilcullen v Sallins Weekend:Kilcullen take on Sallins on three fronts this weekend. On Saturday, the Intermediate team travel to Sallins for their final Keogh Cup group game. They will hope to put last weekend's defeat to Milltown behind them, and qualify for the knock-out stages. Next up, on Sunday morning at 10am, Kilcullen host Sallins in the Under 14 B Féile. Meanwhile, the Minors travel to Sallins, for an 11.30am Sunday morning throw-in Division 3.Underage News:The U 14's played out a draw versus Ballykelly Sunday morning with a final score line of 1-10 to 2-7. Our U 16's team were also out Sunday morning away to Moorefield. The team played very well on a windswept pitch but were beaten by a strong Moorefield outfit with a final score of 2-10 to 2-7.
Juvenile training will resume next Saturday at 2pm. Kids of all ages are welcome to attend.Lotto:Lotto numbers drawn on Sunday 1st March were: 9-12-13-16. There were no jackpot winners of €1,800.
