
Kilcullen U14 boys continued their winning ways with a 3-14 to 2-2 victory over Naas last Wednesday. Kilcullen got off to a good start and early points from Dan Coughlan, Conor Keane and a goal from Jack O’ Connor had Kilcullen 1-2 ahead before Naas got 2 quick goals to rock Kilcullen. Kilcullen responded well and points from Dan Coughlan and Jack Broe left Kilcullen ahead 3 points at the half-time break 2-5 to 2-2. Kilcullen dominated the second half and kept Naas scoreless, great defence from Jamie Buckley, Sam Murphy, Thomas Hickey, Eoin Redmond, Andy Lowe and Adam Duggan, Michael Somers saving a penalty and Thomas Hickey a great save when in goals also. In the second half Jack O’ Connor scored a further goal and points came from Jack Broe, Jake Murphy, Eoin Redmond, Harry Monaghan, Ciaran O’ Brien, James Mc Mahon, and top scorer Dan Coughlan on the night. Next up Kilcock Wednesday 20-May at 7pm in Kilcock.
