Kilcullen U14 boys continued their winning ways with a 3-14 to 2-2 victory over Naas last Wednesday. Kilcullen got off to a good start and early points from Dan Coughlan, Conor Keane and a goal from Jack O’ Connor had Kilcullen 1-2 ahead before Naas got 2 quick goals to rock Kilcullen. Kilcullen responded well and points from Dan Coughlan and Jack Broe left Kilcullen ahead 3 points at the half-time break 2-5 to 2-2. Kilcullen dominated the second half and kept Naas scoreless, great defence from Jamie Buckley, Sam Murphy, Thomas Hickey, Eoin Redmond, Andy Lowe and Adam Duggan, Michael Somers saving a penalty and Thomas Hickey a great save when in goals also. In the second half Jack O’ Connor scored a further goal and points came from Jack Broe, Jake Murphy, Eoin Redmond, Harry Monaghan, Ciaran O’ Brien, James Mc Mahon, and top scorer Dan Coughlan on the night.
